Our approach

What we believe

We believe that the dynamic of conventional ‘leadership teams’ — where ideas and directives are monopolised by a few, dominant personalities — works against success.

Our approach encourages an alternative culture of ‘teams of leaders’ — where every individual member understands the strengths and weaknesses of every other — freeing the flow of ideas and actions.

How we work

Working with us is a vigorous, exhilarating and sometimes uncomfortable experience. We question your received ideas, ask you to try the unexpected and encourage you to widen your perspectives. We’ll use real-world scenarios to stress test how everyone is responding, learning and growing.

We devise and facilitate practical, work-oriented workshops around your specific needs and context.

Who we work with

We work with people who recognise what we call ‘motivated discontent.’ They are company board, executive committee and senior management team members who have become aware of the gap between potential and performance.

They may have been disappointed by other approaches to team development and coaching and are looking for the kind of enlightenment and breakthrough that comes with a serious commitment to budget and time.

Our clients are medium to large privately-owned companies,
with 50+ people. These can include well-funded startups, pre-IPO businesses on their 2nd or 3rd round of funding and family businesses.

Our ethos

We want to do the very best for our clients, our people, the community we work in — and the communities our work impacts. We commit to being transparent, accountable and to balance profit with purpose. We choose to work with organisations that share our belief that it’s crucial to be good corporate citizens.

Others may offer business or scientific approaches, but to every client relationship, we bring a unique combination of science, knowledge and experience.

“Diligent, accurate and perceptive, Actinium’s work resulted in a clear, well-structured result. Their presentation style led to robust and challenging discussions that drove to the core of our issues. I have no hesitation in recommending them for work involving complexity, volatility and novelty.”

Chris Brooks, Group CEO
FoundOcean

“Actinium’s briefing was bang on target and has provided us all with plenty to think about. It was a real privilege to listen to an accomplished practitioner who can bring a subject to life.”
